Graphene OS chooses to not support other devices
Calyx OS probably is a better option since it works with devices like the Moto G52.
Or you could do what I do and use plain old Lineage OS.

Wait, is this YouTube?
Newpipe is slowly becoming better
Before long I’ll be getting threats…
I really hope the courts put a stop to it at some point. There are a few active cases at the moment and US courts historically have backed the GPL.
What are you going to do about it? Its not like there are a lot of options unfortunately.
Beginning of the end?
They killed off AOSP apps and replaced then with proprietary ones. Almost the latest Android features are proprietary and Google tied.
Android is GPL so I don’t see how that would really work
Although they could pull a Red Hat
Isn’t Graphene Lineage OS based?

Maybe time for the OTF to diversify its funding. Hard to do but probably worth it.
F-droid or bust
Your phone would also be much bigger and more expensive. That’s not to say that swappable batteries shouldn’t exist but keep in mind there as always trade offs.

Google Android is mostly proprietary. The reason is they need to gather all the data they can for marketing.
Any messager that isn’t private like WhatsApp.
Also the cryptography is dubious at best since you are focusing on compatibility over privacy or even security.
If you want something decentralized look into Simplex Chat.
Looks pretty good
That would overall be bad for privacy since you will have major weak links. Better to just move everybody to Signal.
Use Signal
And?
The world doesn’t revolve around Graphene OS
