I’ve seen upper level management make decisions that make absolutely no financial sense, practically impossible to implement and almost guaranteed to fail. They make these decisions because they didn’t have to do any of the work, they don’t have to be responsible for it when they fail and if it hurts the company then layoffs and no raises pad the pain.

The United States is being run just like a business. A really really shitty business run on nepotism and a completel lack of intelligence.

Who knew that Tarriffs, a historically bad idea when used broadly and heavily, would be bad for an economy propped up by massive consumer debt and a stock market existing solely on speculation/over valuation?

The other day i said something along the lines of the economy having a valuation problem and i was assured that that’s inaccurate and only the stock market has a valuation problem. So the economy is fine.

I think we’re at the bit where Ukraine gets annexed but i skimmed so maybe I’m wrong.

I kinda pick one of these land grab schemes as the tipping point. If the current armed forces can look at what’s waiting for them when they discharge and still go “yeah fuck Greenland!” then there’s no coming back from this.

The military is what worries me right now very much. Especially if they choose how i would like them to. There’s major repercussions to refusing orders (i assume) and I won’t be the one to bear those so i can only ask.
