That makes sense. But aren’t the people that are in charge and have control over the profits, whether or not the actual funds are in America or not, American? I don’t see how the Americans, that are actually doing harm to their citizens and other countries, COULDN’T benefit from buying their cars.
That has nothing to do with my confusion.
And profit going to the 1% isn’t bad because…?
I don’t understand how an American company wouldn’t make money by selling and manufacturing cars in other countries. If that isn’t the case, why the fuck do they do it?
That makes zero sense. How do they benefit by selling and manufacturing cars in other countries, if not by making money?
it might not make a difference to the Canadian economy, but buying cars from American companies still boost theirs.
They are still raking in money from sales in Canada and other countries though, no?
Two of those are American companies
Does Canada have car manufacturers?
You completely ignored my point. Elon has taken zero part in the “American Dream” he has only taken advantage of American capitalism.
Do you not understand the difference between “having” $100,000 and being able to “play with” $100,000? Success in this country is based on the ratio of how many people you’re willing to screw over with how good you look to the public/customers.
I don’t understand how you or anyone else doesn’t see that, but keep sucking Elon’s peepee, I’m sure it’ll get you far.

Do you not understand that once you have certain amount of money to play with, I think it used to be $100,000, becoming a millionaire becomes significantly easier. Elon has taken zero part in the “American Dream”.
His family ownes an emerald mine in South Africa. Where does that fall into the American dream?
Edited for people who like ignoring points.
I never heard “born rich” as part of the American dream. The idea behind the American dream is that you COULD become as wealthy as Elon, starting from nothing. Not only is that not true for him, but that hasn’t been true about any billionaire.
If you stick to brand you recognize on Amazon, this isn’t an issue. I’m not defending Amazon I’m just saying these points aren’t as valid as they sound.
But the Walmart difference are brands and reduced quality in brand names. There are weird brands on Amazon but I’m not aware of any quality reductions when paying for known brands.
