A creator got impersonated and a fan scammed out $17k. The detective even shows the creator an AI video impersonation. I can easily spot it as a fake but in a few years it’ll be nearly impossible.

The Chinese factory was trying to save money by remelting the leftover plastic into the parts. Weakening the part.
