You need to actually read the links you’re providing.
The buyer’s remorse one specifically refers to high-pressure sales such as door-to-door salesmen or a temporary business location (meeting a salesman in a hotel), or some subscriptions or delayed services. Nothing that would apply to buying a car without a really odd scenario.
And you can’t really compare it to “this scenario” because (most?) civilized countries don’t condone the buying and selling of people.
I was referring to the “sign the title over then regret it” scenario at the top of this thread.
You’re more than welcome to provide a link the law - as far as I can find, there is no mandatory cooling period for purchasing a car - or anything else you purchase in-person (many more exceptions for online) - unless there are issues. This appears to be true in both the EU as a whole and the US, though I haven’t looked into individual EU countries.
Also, literally none of this applies to a sale between two private individuals. None of this would ever apply unless you buy from a retailer, which is not the scenario here as I understand it 🤷♂️
For cause, maybe. Just because you changed your mind? Absolutely not.
Mass shooter don’t get the death penalty.
School shooters don’t get the death penalty.
But kill one rich, white guy while avoiding bystanders?
lol, she’ll get a few grand after years of effort, pain, and outright harassment.
Does being pardoned by Frump really clear your name?
Literally the opposite, in fact
…duh? Retaliating is the point. What were tariffs like before Trump, and who gave Trump power? Why would you go after anyone else?
…but just like you chided the person you replied to, none of that is true or real. The restaurant that forces you to use their app doesn’t exist, and it’s not the only restaurant in town. None of that is even because of technology, it’s because of capitalism.
In Stallman’s particular case he even substantiated his view on pedophilia with very good arguments
No, he didn’t, because none exist. Don’t defend pedophiles.
If that’s the goal, you announce tariffs are coming in a few years so that people scale up local production to avoid the higher costs.
In this case, there was like 4 months notice where all of it was undefined, so of course nobody did anything and now we still don’t have local production. Now, prices will go up and local producers (if they even build up) will match the new prices instead of keeping them low.
Congrats, worst of both worlds! We still have no local production and prices have gone up! Yay!
I mean… have you not seen the photo ops and donations from him explicitly supporting nazis? 🤷♂️ not sure what to tell you, bud, but you can believe your eyes
Meta? Zuck has been extremely supportive of the nazis in power so far
…huh? Bug bounty payouts are not even remotely rare in either the industry as a whole or Google specifically.
Don’t support nazis or the people that support nazis.
Who’s anti-biology, again? 🙄
the left is dogmatically anti-biology in medicine
lolwut
Accepting that gender is a social construct has literally nothing to do with biology. I promise you that even the most diehard Leftists still understand what biological sex means.
…why do they need to implement these blocks?
Hard disagree. They’re not writing anything on their own, no, but my stack saves at least 75% of my time, and I work full-stack across pieces in 5 different languages.
Cursor + Claude was the latest big shift for me, maybe two months ago? If you haven’t tried them, it was a huge bump in utility
