How does this work nowadays when you buy a PC from a store?

I’ve bought a phone following this theory.
After 3 years, the USB port wore out and didn’t charge anymore. And after 4, the phone got concerningly hot during wireless charging.
So yeah, the battery lasts longer, but phones aren’t designed for a long life in general.

What pisses me off is when I create Teams for teams in Teams, and then want to google how to do something specific.

I fucking hate how Microsoft makes several different versions of OneNote, Teams, Outlook, MS accounts, etc. and then gives them the same name, and a very similar icon.
I can’t wrap my head around who thought it was a good idea to have two Teams apps installed, with almost identical icons, and if you log into the personal Teams with an enterprise account or vice versa, you just get an error message.

Please stop spreading this misleading tidbit. The original source is the Carbon Majors database.

It doesn’t say that 80% of emissions are caused by 57 companies. But by 57 entities.

One such entity is “China”. Another one is “The Former Soviet Union”.
Unsurprisingly, the actual privately owned companies that show up in the data (which cause about a quarter of emissions) are all energy, oil and gas producers.
Unfortunately, the climate problem doesn’t have a solution as easy as “stop a few rich CEOs from doing evil”.
